Kecamatan Bandung Kulon merupakan kecamatan yang sudah lama berdiri sejak tahun 1972 hasil pemekaran dari kecamatan andir dan kecamatan astana anyar. Awalnya hanya terdiri dari 4 wilayah administratif kelurahan . Selanjutnya berdasarkan PP NO 16 tahun 1987 dan dikukuhkan melalui PERDA no<\/span> 06 Tahun 2006, sehingga<\/span> Wilayah administratif kelurahan di Kec. Bandung Kulon menjadi 8 Kelurahan.\u00a0<\/span>

Berdasarkan PERDA tersebut Kecamatan Bandung Kulon Meluputi Wilayah Administratif diantaranya :<\/span>

1. Kelurahan Caringin<\/span>

2. Kelurahan\u00a0 Cibuntu<\/span>

3. Kelurahan Cijerah<\/span>

4. Kelurahan Gempolsari<\/span>

5. Kelurahan Cigondewah Kaler\u00a0<\/span>

6. Kelurahan Cigondewah Kidul\u00a0<\/span>

7. Kelurahan Cigondewah Rahayu<\/span>

8. Kelurahan Warung Muncang<\/span>

Kecamatan Bandung Kulon memiliki luas wilayah sebesar 726,25 Ha. Secara geografis Kecamatan Bandung Kulon terletak pada posisi 6 0 54′ 38″ 6 0 57’11” Lintang Selatan Kota Bandung dataran sedang.
